YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I get to see a game live for a change! :D

Half time Wellington 20, Canterbury 13 ... Veainu scored a well constructed try for the Cantabs with Robbie Fruean off loading well ... Hosea Gear scored twice, the first from an intercept, the second from a well worked move fairly close to the line. Both the Wellington Wingers have made good breaks, and are pretty hard to stop.

SBW on for the second half ...

Levave scores for Wellington not converted 25 -20 Wgtn (justise as they just had a try disallowed that probably should have been awarded)

...Canterbury (Veainu) has a try disallowed in the corner

Try to Maitland after a great run from the Cantab lock Romano ... converted by Slade 27-25 to Canterbury! ... Veainu just about scored again.

... The man in the Canterbury No.22 jersey (SBW) scores! ... Slade converts the bonus point try 34-25

Hosea, Faafili are ready for an All Black jumper I tell ya.I like it how Faafili put Whitelock down for a try. Sonny went ok would've liked to see Dane Coles run it at Sonny though. Fruean's just playin really well but him and Savea look funny on defence at times.

Yeah Hosea had a good game, and is awesome on attack, but i'm still not convinced about his defense ... I thought Veainu had a great game too, Faafili had a strong game too, and Nasi Manu had a mostly good game (except when Mathewson took the ball off him for that try). SBW didn't do too much wrong, and got that try. Fruean caused a lot of problems for the Wellington outside backs, as they needed two players to look after him. Dane Coles was miles ahead of Cory Flynn, but not as good as Rutledge was for Southland IMO ... I don't think Flynn will go on the EOY tour if he keeps throwing in to the line out like that!

Are you going to put in a bid for the No.22 Canterbury jersey on TradeMe Sam :) ... All the Cantab Jerseys are signed by the player that wore them, and being auctioned for the Earth Quake fund apparently

Even thou the Lions lost it was a very entertaining game and it's awesome how the Canterbury Rugby Union gave free tickets to the people of Christchurch. Maybe that's a sign that if they made tickets a bit cheaper at all the other games they might get better numbers.

Hosea was damn lethal in the first half, I dunno what's happened to Julian Savea he might be another one of those players that need a bit of time before he starts to play better. Sonny Bill had to choose this game to really start carving up why couldn't he do it to someone else :( awesome game to watch for the full 80min :)

I'd hardly say SBW was "carving up". He was solid, if unspectacular. Savea did seem to disapear in this game, don't know why.
