Brumbies vs the BIL

Depends on whether the technical infringement caused the foul play- did the Lions blocker cause the Brumbies player not be able to compete in the air.

I'd say it doesn't as the player still had the option to pull out rather than compete. I've seen yellows for less.

Very clever breakdown strategy for Brumbies so far, everything they see a back or lonely player over the ball they go for it.

Pretty standard strategy, but Lions are leaving too many rucks unsecured

The way contested high balls have been refereed recently has placed a greater emphasis on abolishing blocking lines to allow a safer contest, so if there's a blocking line, referees are more likely to call that in these situations as it will be determined the Lions player would be at fault for causing the unsafe contest.
