That game gave me my Uni nickname which I still haven't quite shaken off even after best part of a decade.

From that day I was known simply as "Fiji"

Ireland won about a match every year in the 90's, couldn't have the Namibians ruining that stellar record.

Went to the old Arms park in 93 and watched Canada beat Wales. Not sure it was an upset because I wasnt upset at all.

The '93 British and Irish Lions tour to NZ was full of upsets. The Lions lost to Otago, Auckland, Hawkes Bay & Waikato.

Marlborough beating Canterbury in a 1973 Ranfurly Shield challenge. Nobody saw that coming. Held onto it until the '74 season, lost it to South Canterbury, who lost to Wellington, who lost to Auckland. And that gave me my first opportunity to see a shield game in the flesh. Auckland v North Auckland, 1975. Wednesday 3.30pm kick-off. Bunk off school, and bump into a host of my teachers at the game! No action was taken. 46,500 there. Lots of dental appointments and dead grandmothers that day. Auckland won 22-16. I was hooked.
