Beer is beer, and can be drunk with ease - The best beer of all time is the 1st one in the morning after a massive long drinking session the night before - hair of the dog - BRILLIANT
Those lemons n limes beers like Corona and crap - the lemon or citrus thingy is there to keep the flies away - WHEN UR IN MEXICO
I hate those wankers that stand up with there presumed high quality beer, imported from a peso country, paying AUD$8.00 for a bottle, lemon/lime sticking out the top - oh look at me and my corona, my fancy fruit bearing lager.....shove a farkin umbrella in it too, and pucker ya lips with gloss you fairies
As for VB - down here its the bottom of the keg...........i grew up on it, but now I am a Carlton Draught man.........VB is the cheapest of beers here, and still a good drop too..........one day I'll ask for a lemon in it so I can join the Corona crew, be a 1st class drinker, keeping them flies away.

From the bottle - TOOHEYS EXTRA DRY
Not sure if well known up in the northen hemipshere, but TOOHEYS EXTRA DRY, is as good as a bottled beer gets.
If it aint beer, or the selection at the club is imported AUD$10.00 per bottle Corona or Asahi, or Stella - I'll go a double Jamieson n Coke, or apple juice, scull 3 of them in quick succession, to get the head fuzzy.
Its not long until the Rugby League season kicks off, which means for me, the annual round 1 Jamieson session is coming up
JagerBombs are also top quality - cant go past those
Chartruse (spelling), another one on the menu you cant dismiss
You can also get some funky tastes out of Gin mixtures - If you got people in the know that work on the other side of the bar, they can surprise you with the best lolliest, potent drink you ever come across - Its good not to remember these drinks, for your own wellbeing.

Oh yes, I forgot to say, there are some excellent South German, Austrian and Czech lagers which are very nice.
I do like Budvar, Staropramen and Pilsner Urquell, although their bottled stuff isn't as good as the real thing out of a tap in a nice Prague bar.

It would be close to the lowest consumed local aussie beer in the aussie market
NOBODY DRINKS IT - We are surprised it still exists, and in fact IMO, their international sales keep the FOSTERS alive
As for XXXX - mainly only consumed in QLD..........is a QLD beer thats for sure.........starting to make inroads into Vic/NSW markets with a new beach cricket marketing campaign that is working.
but if anyone thinks they can top Carlton Draught.....they are in for 1 very uphill battle
Some good Tasmanian beers in Squires, Cascade, Boags = Top quality premium brew these guys - a lil more expensive but tip top quality.
This new 'Pure Blonde' beer just launched and they brought Paris Hilton down to promote it - Its a beer, with low carbs n calories with the same alcohol %.........this is starting to take off as the ever so unavoidable TRENDY LOOK AFTER YOURSELF PRETTY BOY Australia takes place - All the sophisticated Corona lemon bairing poofs, will take this pure blonde - a placebo IMO that this beer is good for your health...when compared to others it is, but its beer in the end...not healthy.
Girls have started to drink this pure-blonde - it does have a girly ring to it....surprisingly the beer does taste good.......but I dont go to the bar and ask for a pure blonde and not get a phone number.
As for USA beers - well i lived there for a year, in my gap year after school.........Budweiser always my choice...........Bud Light was good aswell...........ICE beer was the shocker...........like 8% alcohol and didnt that get me in my prodigy days of rookieness....awoke in my own spew on a tiled floor................not a good day.
Still get the odd 6 pack of BUD...........when the NFL is on, or something American like Thanksgiving, will always try and grab the KING OF BEERS.
But you cant go past the Carlton Draught............they had that MASSIVE MASSIVE ADD...........THIS IS A BIG BIG ADD.........was on this forum a while back, people not knowing what the beer is etc...pretty famous ad when it comes to global marketing campaigns.

"King of beers"? Don't make me laugh.
The cheapest DECENT beer (not your crap lagers like Fosters, Bud-****-weiser or Carling) is probably going to be something at a JD Weatherspoons which is a pint of hand pumped real ale for about £2.30 (A$5.70) but in the UK wages are higher like the minimum wage for you (in sheep shearing or target practice for a county lord) would be £5.50 an hour (A$13.60) so rest assured, you can survive in the UK.
And O'Ro, XXXX tastes of distilled kebab. Its horrible.

Earlier on the news there was a segment about a college student in the USA who spent $2500 on developing a beer flinging fridge. It could hold 10 cans and a scoop thing picked it up and rolled it in2 a thing that threw the beer, and it threw it a couple of metres to the fella on the couch!
