The BBC will show Ireland, Scotland and Wales's autumn internationals on live TV this year following a series of new deals announced by BBC Sport.

The contracts will include rights for TV, radio and online, HD and iPlayer.

BBC Sport has also signed a deal with the RFU to provide highlights coverage for all of England's international fixtures up to 2013 inclusive.

Philip Bernie, head of TV Sport at the BBC, said: "We look forward to bringing top-class rugby to our audiences."

BBC viewers can look forward to watching Ireland's games for 2010, 2012 and 2013, Scotland's 2010 Tests and Wales's fixtures for 2010, 2012 and 2013.

I'm more than happy about this.
Means all matches are on iPlayer for however long they put things on for (a week?) so if you miss the match you can still watch it

The Government need to put some of that £81bn they've apparently saved into the BBC so they can buy the rights to England games off of Sky

Something they will never be able to really do, one because there will be an outrage by some in the media but also out on the streets because trying to spend tax payers money on a sport that not everyone watches. Also going to compete against SKY is never a good idea because they will match pretty much anything the BBC will be able to offer!

Ah, I was only joking about the government thing, but it does suck that England games are the only ones you have to pay for,
At least the 6N are still on the BBC
