Pretty dire first half but the second was as good as I've seen us play this season.

Hell of an early Christmas present!

Very ****ly first half, but Sale came out after half time with a very different, and very effective game plan - just blew us out of the water

Good win for Chiefs, even if sarries get a BP win we are still 9 points ahead at the mid season point.

Joe simmonds has some talent id like to see more of him. Ewers had some good carries but didnt seem as much a bulldozer as i was hoping for tbh but glad he's back. Have alot of options in the back row now.

Be curious to see Exeter play next week with Nic White coming back, Simmonds link play is much better with him than Chudley or Townsend and White's longer passing game gives him more width to play with as well. He's ridiculously likely to break the advantage line with that kind of width given to him. Makes defenses work harder all game too... can't cover by just posting off close to the breakdown.

11 carries by Simmonds was a comparatively quiet match by his standards... they played more equal-opportunity hitting it up amongst the forwards than usual.
