Dumbass, my favorite team is Cheetahs and Os du Randt is by far, even at his age, way to superior to your Woodcock. You`re lucky that Naka Drotske retired but i bet my money that even now he could pass lessons how to thorw a ball to your maori Mealamu. In fact, you had a grat player, but that was Fitzie, after him .....

Hehe, i bet all my money that you have no idea that Auckland Blues won 86 and 87 Super 6 (the first two edition of the Super 6, competition that first started in 86 (first Super 6 teams: Crusaders, Auckland, Wellington, QLD , NSW and Fiji) !

Huh, look who`s talking with me about history, a bloody ignorant! :wall:

i think the blues should have mcalistair at 1st 5...tipoki at 2nd 5..and a toss up between tuitawake and atiga at centre...

i know that lavea opened up the hurricanes defense for the first try...but he didnt seem to take control of the game...also too many of his kicks go out on the foul...

still early days....

ice toeava looks like a classy player

allblacks frontrow is better then any front row in the WORLD...

why?...

coz of mealamu, woodcock and hayman which of auckland possess 2 of those key factors
cheetahs?..cats?...all the same...losers

heres you talking history which is like modern day to you anyway...you backwards old man sitting on wheelchair going downhill..

heres a quiz for you

how many sth african teams won the super12 championship in the ten years of its existance as opposed to the auckland blues?...

now sush and answer the question rassie the racist...you dont wanna bore our viewers with youre constant "back in my dayyyy..when we use to write on cave walls and hunt wild t'rex" rabble...just answer the question

Again, you retard, Northern Transvaal won the competition in 93 !

The best front row in the World (again, the world mean much more than your puny island), you`ll find it in Bulls and Cheetahs squad you nimrod, check the stats and stop spanking your monkey in front of your coconut screen ! :D

:bana:

rassie aye...that super viagra formula must have its side effects...

umm..ur point is losing once again...you want to check stats then you should read all about the tight heads won by the allblacks last year and the domination of every forward pack we challenged last year

surely you watch rugby coz you and every one else who did watch rugby...would know that the allblacks have had the most superior front row all last year...and presumably they will continue to do so this year

and....two of those players from that front row feature in this auckland my dear old old old old old old friend

which brings me back to the point....auckland blues have the best tight five becoz of the core players that feature in the dominating allblacks

mealamu,woodcock and ali williams...

and as for the cheetahs?...

they are newbies..they will eat the veterans dust for a good year or two

dont get your hopes up..you might have your 37th stroke

Os du Randt (Wiaan du Preez), Tiaan Liebenberg, CJ van der Linde (Jannie du Plesis) - Cheetahs - the best front row !

You moron, Cheetahs are not debutants, they were previous Orange Free State and played in Super 12 for a season until the f***ed up SARFU leaders decided against us!

You know what would be a bugger? If the Cheetahs are the lowest placed South African team in the competition this year ;)

Back on topic. I couldn't see the game as I had work, but sounds bloody good...

Time to see what I picked for the score in the other thread ;)

Nonu should've at least been warned for his attempted spear tackle of McAlister 5 seconds after he had punted the ball. And what about that try (think it was scored by Umaga) where there were 2 fricking foward passes in a row, that changed the whole momentum of the game... the Ref deserved to be shot.

So does Tasea Lavea, and you can't blame Devine for going down like that after 25 seconds, he had his head smashed into the turf while getting pummeled by Jerry Collins... name me a player who at least wouldn't be dazed after taking a hit like that.

If Nucifora is the Henry clone they make him out to be, there will be no reason why he shouldn't replace Lavea now, Most of the punting was done by McAlister anyway and he looked more dangerous with the ball in hand, every time he ran with the ball he either stepped and made a tackler look stupid or broke or at least gained some decent ground before going down.

Nick Williams needs to get invovled more or else he will be relegated once Flavell returns... be intresting to see what he's like, the last time I saw him he gave Richard Hill some impromtu facial reconstruction surgery.

Lavea is a bum

Nucifora needs to put McAlister as 1st with Tipoki and Tuitavake in the midfield
and Nick the Beast Williams needs to be at number 8

i under-estimated the hurricanes..and thought blues would run rampant...guess i was wrong..

looking at the players in all 5 super14 teams...the hurricanes have the most current all blacks (from the GS tour)...11 that is..6 in the forwards..5 in the backs..also lome fa'atau is an experienced samoan international

the problem with blues seemed they werent getting enough players to the breakdown..thus losing the ball far too often...
the backline seemed too flat at times (flat backline maybe?????)

and mcalister should be playing at 1st 5...he won the tri-nations for the ABs from that position.

Man, how was Devine getting munched, that had to hurt...
Slow first half, big second half.

And Rassie os du fat ******* is old, fat and slow.

devine got murdered...poor guy

jerry collins rag dolled him in the pitch...and ali williams had to slap his face and tell em "..we in new zealand mate..."

poor guy...then he let in maa nonus try..he shudve been benched straight away

well full credit to the canes they played well especially in the second half.

blues need to sort out the loosie combo. macdonald is no 8 but the beast williams there. he was devasting in the npc in that position. mcAlister surely has to be at first five next game lavea is utter crap and that would also free up a spot for a guy like tipoki who was killing it in the npc.

it is but 1 game in the season so far for the blues and I have faith that they can bounce back.
