It's great to see that Argentina has got a lot of depth in their ranks and that their youngster (u20) are doing really well at the World Cup in South Africa with victories over France and Australia. Promising signs for the future.

Why won't Roncero and Contepomi play in TRC?

Roncero is retiring from all rugby in seven days time. His final ever match will be Argentina vs France in Córdoba.

Contepomi has decided not to play in TRC but will play in the November Tour of Europe, if he is wanted.

The reasons for both come down to age. They are 35 years old with daughters. Simple as that.
