An open letter to World Rugby.

I'll make the first olive branch move on this. I retract the sarcastic and cynical comments I fired at others, because I love the sport and I really don't want to fall out with anybody over it.

In terms of this thread's ***le, and though others may disagree, I like that World Rugby has introduced a system like the TMO. It is sadly unfortunate that some people do cheat at sport, as we all know, and that the great ability of the top-class athletes that we all so admire and like to watch, play at such levels and speeds that sometimes the referees and their linesmen assistants miss things. Anything that helps the officiating is to be embraced, in my view. Yes, I know it can be a pain in terms of slowing down the action but if it results in fairness and greater accuracy in terms of decisions made, then I'm all for it.

Incidentally, surely the most beautiful moment in the final, was Carter's exquisite dropped goal.
