Alcohol sponsorship and rugby, what are our views?

OP graduated, had a full career, and retired before this conversation started
Nah, OP dropped out.
No-one answered their thesis questionnaire and they failed the thesis, and thus the whole course.

Has spent the last 11 years working for Starbucks, whilst dreaming of starting their own independent café / library.
Uni in 2013, so born in the 90s... Is just about ready to accept that they'll never have saved enough for a deposit, so is essentially settling until they can inherit something (if "lucky" enough to ever do so).

I was hungover and not liking it, and remembered back to the Brisbane Test seeing Lions fans queueing up to buy alcohol at BWS before the game which was a little odd by Australian sports standards
Really? Why was that odd?

Forget AI. Forget the internet.

The brewer who comes up with yeast free beer really will change the world. My world anyway. Pints of vodka or wine just aren’t the same.

I find it odd that a product is legal, taxed to death and widely available yet has heavily restricted advertising. Educate, but don’t treat us as babies - the risks are known and we can choose whether to take them.

TV ads have never been the same since Carling Black Label.

One of the top alcohol adverts

I think there should be more of it and the water should be replaced with beer. Anyone still able to pass a sobriety test after half time should be made to sit in the corner and think about what they've done.
im am constantly disappointing when i ask 3rd grade to back up for 2nd grade and they turn up with less than 2 beers under their belt

Unrestricted advertising isn't education
