But then I've been Team Gilmour as its really his guitar playing that elevate Floyd's stuff.
Just reading the anti semitic stuff on wiki took me about 45 mins. lol.I always thought Roger Waters was a bit of a secret nazi, hates jews and blames Nato and Ukraine for the war in Russia.
Blokes basically a musical JK Rowling.
TBF on this one some people really need to understand the plot of The WallLikes dressing up as a Nazi as well. Ha ha.
IMO, both are geniuses, but Gilmour by far the better human being. But then I've been Team Gilmour as its really his guitar playing that elevate Floyd's stuff.

I just look at that the Waltersless albums are great are pretty damn good whereas Gimourless ones (and those where he given up fighting with Walters ego) are less good.IMO, both are geniuses, but Gilmour by far the better human being.
I've always hated the argument (not necessarily yours) that because Dave is a genius, therefore Roger couldn't be.
But then, I'm one of those who thinks that Final Cut is an excellent album - not necessarily musically (there's the odd but here and there, but mostly very toned down) - but the concept, the story, the lyrics.
As for being a secret nazi, anti-Semite, blaming NATO etc...
He's really not the former, almost certainly is the 2nd, and the 3rd seems to be a misrepresentation of a weird, and extreme form of pacifism (which he shared with a fair few people) that suggested that just giving in to Russian aggression would be less horrendous than standing up and fighting back.
Still an utter twunt, of course.

Both really good musicians either way.
It's Cambridge we have form for producing world class weird people.Just reading the anti semitic stuff on wiki took me about 45 mins. lol.

Seems like a total crack pot but then he is a musician so not like he should be taken seriously anyway, though I’m sure people do.
Would that explain my Dad?It's Cambridge we have form for producing world class weird people.
I always thought as a kid Aberavon would be a great place to film a zombie movie. It's Cambridge we have form for producing world class weird people.
The cover for the Division Bell album was shot in a field near my house so that's kind of cool.
But... zombies eat brains... they'd starve!I always thought as a kid Aberavon would be a great place to film a zombie movie.
I disagree, and here's why; the co-architect of the 'brutal regime' appears to be his vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, albeit now working for Trump. Let's see how the Venezuelan people take that.Does anyone actually disagree with Badenochs take here?
"The Conservative leader told the BBC that while she did not understand the legal basis for Donald Trump's operation to remove President Nicolás Maduro from the country, he was overseeing a "brutal regime" and she was "glad he's gone"
Doesnt this quote apply to pretty much all of us?
Jaysus. They walk amongst us.

I've always hated the argument (not necessarily yours) that because Dave is a genius, therefore Roger couldn't be (no-one seems to apply this to Lennon & McCartney, for example).

Yeah, I don't agree with him, but it is (was) a valid perspective, especially for someone scarred by war, and terrified of nuclear holocaustThe far-left in Ireland has a similar view about Ukraine and stuff like our neutrality. Basically consider it a moral point and that any increased militarisation or erosion of the triple lock is a dangerous step.

@General Melchett what would you say about Oxford?Would that explain my Dad?
If Oxford is the same, then that's both my parents covered.
* Why they bought a time-share that involved a 6-hour car journey on boat-race weekend, I'll never know
The UK has a special relationship with the US. The US has a special relationship with everyone.would be mildly funny that the special relationship resulted in us being the launch pad for an invasion of Greenland.
