A Political Thread pt. 2

It's not even disinformation, misinformation or someone's opinion. She did crash it and the facts speak for themselves.

The pound tanked, interest/mortgage rates shot up and the BoE had to step in and save pension funds as the markets got spooked by her irresponsible mini budget.

In hindsight he would have been better than Harris yeah purely based on past reputation and achievements.

No one was beating Trump though. That country has gone scatter brained in the last 8 years and an egotistical sociopath is what resonates the most with them.

Defeated him once already
He says based on polling he would have won. His polling was significantly worse than even Harris' and his own base weren't enthused or even sure he'd live to the end of his term. He could have beaten Trump until he absolutely **** the bed in the debate. He has to really go after Trump and match his energy but he couldn't.

Any links?

Reform UK's leader, Nigel Farage, and another of the party's MPs, Rupert Lowe, demanded that a new inquiry focus specifically on men of Pakistani origin targeting white girls, not on other ethnicities.

"This is not a bandwagon of the far right. This is about ensuring swift and brutal justice to these demons," Lowe said. He spelled out a list of demands for an inquiry to answer, referring to them as "foreign rapists".

He'd of still lost but it would be closer. The Harris campaign was a disaster and she really hasn't had much of a track record. It should have been an open primary that could have been done in short time.

It's amazing how out of touch the dems are with people. Economy, abortion, and environment are what young people care about but I just heard about how weird the guys kicking our asses were.

Supporting the dems is worse than being a welsh rugby fan.

There isn't anyway though. Even if Starmer did go it would still be a labour government. This was exactly the problem with the Tories constantly changing leader. We got a new leader and the same ****.

I don't think people grasp you are not voting for the leader you are voting for the party and it's policies \ manifesto. On another level you are voting for your local MP.

Even if they did get rid of Starmer (won't happen) nothing much will change.

Reeves is probably more in squeaky bum mode hoping the markets settle.

Domestic political issues in the UK have got nothing to do with Musk - just like the fifth amendment has got nothing to do with British politicians. He's not even a foreign diplomat. He's just a rich South African who spent $75m trying to buy an election result in the US in order to help his businesses and make him more rich and powerful.

One meeting with Farage and the other Reform bloke and he thinks he's now calling the shots and can instigate regime change in the UK. It's insane.
