A Political Thread pt. 2

@AlRums always seems to have a newscorp link on hand.

Which is damming cause they always make trump look like **** anyway.
Not really fox are his supporters do you want a CNN link? I try to post both sides of the coin left and right. It's damming that statement came from the right news, I would have expected it from the left.

It was all very predictable, I mean hands up if you thought it was going to go well.
Better than that. I honestly thought he'd get some kind of agreement of peacekeepers from the USA.

Not walking out the white house and cancelling the deal signing.

I think even Fox knows the blew all credibility America has on the world stage for 3.75 years.

Yup, Macron and Starmer did their jobs, trying to smooth things over a little, butter him up, and be the last person to speak to Trump, and influence where his mind is.
Putin obviously managed to get in there with a quick reminder before Zelenskyy arrived.

Here's Zelensky's post on X in full:

"Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit."

"Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people. Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that."

Only 4 Thank You's clearly taking the ****.

Anyone else think NATO is semi-officially dead off the back of that?

Can anyone really see American soldiers being deployed into any warzone on a NATO country in Eastern Europe under this US administration if it came to it?

No it's completely dead. No matter we need to move on.

Don't worry, mush will have that deleted so Americans can't see it.

Better to know now when Russia already have their hands full than later when they may be able to do something more.

Clearly, there is an ever growing urgent need to cut all dependencies on the US military-industrial complex when there is a European (non-Swiss) alternative...
In instances where there isn't, probably worth evaluating the viability of creating one.

"They" could do something more if it would have been supported by most of Russian people. But noone supports what's going on in Ukraine (not to mention potential WW3), except a bunch of brainwashed people.
One thing is when someone invades into your country - then the whole country would stand up against the enemy. And absolutely another thing when it's your country/"president" invades somewhere

One of the first things I'd like to see is banning is the transfer and storage if European data in the US. The US has been abusing that for years.

Much like they accuse the Chinese over twattok

Always annoyed me how america screams "they're taking our data" when it's pretty clear they're angry they can't get it.

In my current job I remember someone (American) asking early days "who owns the data".

(One of the primary products I work on is data connectivity for aircraft)

The only thing Europe can't produce is 5th Gen fighters but Russia has **** all of them too so sod it.
