I'm really not sure Trump would even want a 3rd term even if he could get it. Hes old and the main reason he wanted the presidency this time was to stay out of jail which he's accomplished.

But let's try one more time (although I will concede the average approval rating comment) I merely have 2 questions:

1. Are you missing the context in which I made clear a number of times, that stats to highlight one side of the argument can also be used for the other side, or are you just maliciously misinterpretation it? I'm trying to gauge whether you missed it through rage filled tears, or ignoring it to score points.

2. Has any other US candidate received more than 214 million votes?

Yet you always drive headlong into the weeds with often completely false information. You dived in making light off the tragedy in Myanmar to spread crap about transgender cats.

2) Total votes is meaningless and you are either playing dumb or actually dumb to make such an argument. % of vote share / % of eligible vote is the criteria for popularity and Trump is nothing special on either count. Has any other presidential candidate received 49.8% of the vote. Also where are you even getting this figure from? Trump didn't get 214 million votes. Are you just adding up all the votes he received over running 3 times? Again a completely meaningless stat.

I dunno. He's a showman who loves the limelight and will be looking at Putin and Xi with admiration. Like them I think he's addicted to power and prestige.

I will say this - for someone of his age and size he seems to have boundless energy levels. I think he's one of those people who can still function on little sleep. I remember during the election campaign some of his aides were caught yawning on camera in what must have been a grueling campaign over many months. Trump never looks tired. He's 6 ft 3 and overweight and so you'd think it would catch up with him one day although he is teetotal which probably helps.

So to explain my question, my basic attempt is to find out how intellectually honest you are, and sadly you have proved typical.

I asked simply, has any other candidate received 214 million votes? The answer to any normal person is no, that is a factually accurate statement. Buy you go off on a rant about using votes to discuss popularity lol, it's justifying denying the fact Trump has received 214 million votes, more than any other US presidential candidate.

Like AIrum I think my interaction with you ends, your not being honest, and unwilling to see any nuance, humour or context in what's being discussed, your fighting for your team tooth and nail, and is part of the reason Trump has won again. Take care of yourself.

I think it'll be Vance. The older kids don't have what Trump has so don't see it but nothing would surprise me anymore. Maybe we'll see Arnie v Stallone in the next election.

Ironically, only Democrat presidents have really considered 3rd terms, Roosevelt did it during war time, the 22nd amendment was enacted after that, but both Truman and Johnson made runs at it (maybe someone with a bit more knowledge if the history can update me (no not the usual as fighting for their team)), and Obama had some conversations about it publicly at one stage, I know the argument has been made against him that he has been Democrats puppet master and had his hand up Bidens skirt, but I wouldnt put Obama or Trump (yet) in the Truman or Johnson category, because they both tries and failed before quitting in the primaries I believe.
