2nd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

I'd say both Russell and JGP haven't been at their previous level.
Think that comes from being on back foot so much. Oz winning collisions and making a mess of breakdowns.

Anyone know weather forecast for second half? If it's raining then JGP should stay on otherwise might be worth trying to up the tempo with Mitchell.

Honestly, look out for it. Start counting how many times an Irish player fails to pass when a pass would have been the better move. You'll be shocked
You could probably add up every time an Irish player has failed to pass in the history of Ireland and it still wouldn't be more than how many times Farrell has failed to pass.

Even if we lose that break out try reminded me of a time we could really play. So, ill take that as a win.
Mate, don't you think Oz should win from here? They've shown that they're more than capable of humbling this Lions side when it clicks and Oz are in driving seat RN.

Think your simplifying things slightly here, I agree with the fly half thing, the idea that Farrell is/was wc kicking is semi accurate, he's had some right stinking days probably worse than Ford during one particular autumn international IIRC, rightly or wrongly I don't think that was the main reason for his selection.
Oh I'm just giving an example one poor game from Ford was what led to a lot of calls that he needed Farrell to hold his hand. There were a bunch of reasons I admit.

That Try wouldn't have happened without Russell. Great kick - Shame we missed it in real time (thanks Sky!).

His only sub-par moment so far was his first Conversion attempt - you'd expect him to get that one.
I disagree. As well as passing the ball into touch there were also a couple of other passes where he delayed the pass which actually had the effect of putting the receiver in more difficulties, rather than giving the receiver space to run.
