[2025 TRC] South Africa v Australia - 23/8/2025

Yeah, Kolisi's USP is his leadership - think there's a few who offer more as purely players these days
But then if you act as a buff for those around you, maybe that's enough of a USP

Entertaining first half - think the early injuries for Aus will tell in the second half, though, plus SA being able to bring on Etzebeth and Lood as Wallabies subs Tupou and Skelton will be a huge weight discrepancy in the packs

Interesting from the Aussie commentary talking about how much they miss WLR on attack, no one else is stepping up to add a second option/any creativity so it's all one track, and pretty pedestrian, so far

For me, this match closes down any debate about who should be the Bok number 10 through to the 2027 World Cup. Pollard is head and shoulders above Libbok when it comes to tight games.

Fair play to Aus I was really expecting a back lash from last week, they proved they are no longer a push over even more impressive considering their early injury’s and what SA brought off the bench. I do think SA have regressed some what though, their lack of a play making 15 really does appear to have stopped them utilising their Awsome wingers.

Ref sadly more interested in his own voice than watching the game, spoilt what could have been a good game, but Rassie should be worried that The Boks are not clicking, and the game plan isn't working either, need to up their game for the AB's

Maybe the solution is to bring Le Roux back, as an outsider (although the Boks are the team I support if Wales aren't playing), I never understand the antipathy towards Le Roux and Pollard.
