Wales' scrum has been ordinary for years with Thomas at 1. Never been convinced by him, especially as he offers little else other than the odd chop tackle. Why Nicky Smith hasn't been first choice for years I'll never know

Probably not, it's just a belief thing with points already on the board your not getting 0 or anything you know Ireland being Ireland your unlikely to outscore them With just kicks, brave but necessary to keep applying the pressure and try and maximise the opportunity on the scoreboard.
