And with Howley as our new attack coach Wales to score 6 in each half.France to score 5 tries in each half.

That stat pales in comparison to Cam Winnets...Read earlier that Wainwright has lost 84 out of 116 games for Dragons.
Knew he reminded me of Parisse.

Don't tease me, ending this game with 12 might be dream world...Points?
We should start a 'watching from behind the sofa' thread, where we can occupy ourselves with found pound coins, what the doing, and what the smell is from the kitchen...I'm not sure I have it in me to watch this game.
At least in real time, anyway.
This is old me watching Wales. The disillusionment and apathy has well and truly taken over now. England aside, I'm not sure any of the inevitable 5 defeats we get this year will even register. We should start a 'watching from behind the sofa' thread, where we can occupy ourselves with found pound coins, what the doing, and what the smell is from the kitchen...
Listen, in moments like these, that pesky 90s decade, and probably the pesky 2020 decade, I remind myself of one thing, that warms me up a touch...This is old me watching Wales. You missed nobody has ever seen Scotland beat the All Blacks and nobody under 70ish were alive when Wales did.........reasons to be cheerfulListen, in moments like these, that pesky 90s decade, and probably the pesky 2020 decade, I remind myself of one thing, that warms me up a touch...
It could be much worse, we could be Scottish. Anyone under 25 hasn't seen a Scottish championship win, noone has ever seen scotland win a 6 nations championship, anyone under 35 has never seen a Scottish grand slam, and noone has ever seen Scotland win a 5th game of the championship.
We've been incredibly spoiled in the last 20 years, 05, 08, 12, 13, 19, 21 championships, and another 3 or 4 tournaments we were in it to win it on the final weekend, 09, 15 stand out being in the stadiums when we fell short, but celebrated with my Irish friends anyway.
We have had 2 rwc semi finals in that time, robbed of 1, and bravely defeated in the other, and had overwhelming lions representation, especially in 2013 (I was there).
Welsh fans can't really complain, especially as all these issues are inflicted on ourselves.
I'll have my grand slam highlights packages on for after the final whistle to feel better, after a few whiskeys, and I'll enjoy my time in Rome next weekend regardless (impossible not to).
I mean, I was trying to keep it 6N focused...You missed nobody has ever seen Scotland beat the All Blacks and nobody under 70ish were alive when Wales did.........reasons to be cheerful
I also never mentioned scotlands sub 50% qualification from the group rate at RWCsI mean, I was trying to keep it 6N focused...
Having Anscombe involved somewhere would be reassuring. Think Ben Thomas is a great player with a high ceiling, but he plays his best at 12 IMO. Not actually a bad looking side in all fairness, would've liked to have seen Rio Dyer on the wing (I know he isn't in the squad though).Teams out...
Not sure about Ben Thomas at 10, I'd also have gone with Reffell at 6, 2 fetches to counter the French beef, but with no Beard I get why Bothams size and lineout ability is needed.
Tompkins outside Watkin is a worry, hopefully Adams doesn't get too exploited by Biabiery and Penaut.
I agree Anscombe would certainly have helped, I don't rate Thomas, he can't kick, and is 27 who doesnt play 10.Having Anscombe involved somewhere would be reassuring.
