[2023 Six Nations] Wales vs England - 25 February 2023

Wales will be happy to only be 5 points behind. England so wasteful. We looked good for the try and then seemed to regress back to EJ and kicked badly.

Based on what we saw, a fair scoreline

Both teams have faded 2nd half previously. It's now down to who runs out of puff first

Dombrandt hands straight on the floor,
Lucky call - Lawrence was legal but Dombrandt not
I thought the same but in fairness wales have got a way with a couple of extra rolls/shuffling on the floor to retain the ball which would often get pinged.

England have the ingredients, but we're shite haha

100%. Doesn't feel like a 5 point game. I've been calling for Farrell at 10 due to his prem form over Smith and his play IMO suits test level but the way England are playing suits Smith for more plus Farrell is missing kicks and making errors you don't normally associate with his steady Eddie type play.

Where are the Welsh back row?

Tips is always smashed when he starts, he's always better off the bench for Wales. Think Faletau is a yard off the pace now as well and Christ isn't known for pace. Exactly what I expected to happen at the breakdown is happening. Really feel for Tomos, he's getting flak but with little cover.

Didn't England do this the phase before the try? Don't think the ball was released and regathered but not 100%.

I thought that. Only explanation I can give is Raynal thought he wasn't held.
