Players/committee members have preference and usually get them but sponsors pay big money for guarantee on the tickets they want. Didn't get drawn or given first refusal on any for the England game.

I do see the argument for sponsors, but beyond that......
The club I get tickets from and one I used to play for the sponsors tend to be players/ex players/jnr coaches etc so fine but there are plenty of ways for sponsors to get tickets. Club tickets should be for club members and the fairest way is via a ballot. The whole purpose of a union allocating tickets to grassroots clubs is so grassroots rugby people get to go. Boils my blood a bit

This was mentioned elsewhere. Majority are corporate sales like the above and just fear it will dilute the atmosphere a little. Hope it doesn't and place is rocking but do see us winning a slightly dour affair.
It's the problem of a 54k stadium here. IRFU are trying to buy up the houses behind the small stand to build 15k extra seats
