[2020 Six Nations] Ireland vs Italy (24/10/20)

Lovely start from Gibson-Park. Perfect player to bring on when you're trying to rack up a score.

There have been more Ireland offloads in this game than the last 5 years.

Wonder did Farrell start Doris and Connors today as an audition for 20 shirt next week. Then ot backfired as it will be hard if VDF or POM to get in.

Is Conway that slow that his instinct is to immediately step inside? There's definitely been times today he should have been trying to burn lads.

He's got a bit of pace but not too much and he never seems to back it. I don't think Keenan is much faster than him but much more willing to back himself.

To be fair looking at stats majority of his tries are from cutting inside. Certainly has pace but habit prevails. Most right wingers have that habit for some reason. Right wingers cut inside most of time. Left wingers go outside

Most of your tries will be from cutting inside if you cut inside every time! ;)
If you look at stats it crazy. For Conways and Earls in Munster they both step to their right more than left. If Conway was on left wing he would score most outside and little inside.
It's actually same woth Leinster I remember seeing stat with Dave Kearney and James Lowe on it over 2 games they played. Not based on tries but traits. That why they say there alot of difference in left and right wingers

Connors MOTM right call. Beirne, Stander and Deegan were all very good too.
