i agree re TJ, i think laumape hasnt had enough games in a row to really setting and Jordie gets more games than he should to settle
neither do we other than fozzie just wants the 15 best rugby payers (jordie did have a very good SRA) on the field even if they are out of positions...you know, what a professional international rugby coach should do.....Jordie is such a flog. I dont get how he gets a gig with Beauden at fb and the 10000+ world class wingers you lot spit out.

exactly, history is littered with players that would have walked into many international teams if they were;t behind someone slightly betterI mean didn't teams do incredibly well for over 100 years, simply playing the best player in each position. Tough **** if you were the man and someone happened to be better than you.
...isn't that pretty common, especially for "journo's trying to make headlines" whenever "their team looses due to something other than just getting played off the field?Watching the Breakdown (NZ show), John Kirwan really loves a good moan. Calling for red cards to be removed at test level.
Funny how Kiwi's call for rules to be changed after an All Black loss
Except the rule was changed for super rugby Aotearoa, before the all blacks lost, it's hilarious really. The calls for the rules around red cards to be removed has been going on for years, mostly since some years ago Ireland came down with a good team and we were all looking forward to a contest but heaslip got red carded early, completely ruining the game. Oh, the all blacks won that day, putting 50 plus points on Ireland. I'm in fits of laughterWatching the Breakdown (NZ show), John Kirwan really loves a good moan. I presume you didn't watch super rugby Aotearoa? He was an absolute standout, At fullback, a million times better than he has been In any position at any level prior. So we can understand why he is picked, but There is only one fan that thinks He should be playing wing, and he has only played fullback So far this year when Beauden was at ten. Still probably deserves another chance At 15 given super rugby form.Jordie is such a flog. I dont get how he gets a gig with Beauden at fb and the 10000+ world class wingers you lot spit out.
i think if you Ask players to do different things you will inevitably make the team worse off during their learning period. I'd rather they did their learning not during tests that were on the line, maybe at the ends of tests where we'd already won or against weaker opposition. It remains to be seen of course whether some of these new roles will prove to be good ideas at some point in the future, following the learning period. Some of it haS already worked, canes running in particular. And they gave Ardie a big lineout role in this last test and he performed well. He did play a big part in the lineout for the canes but he want all that good at it and cane is better but wasn't used in this test, so that's another area where they sacrificed in order to develop savea in that role. Akira stole a lineout too, another who you wouldn't expect should have that role. In other words They went in to the test light on lineout options and then chose to use the two loosies who were the worst out of the three at lineout time, because they wanted to develop themthats an interesting point, you right he has.
whats interesting is it hasn't historically been his game, he's been a demon on defence...but then theyve had people like Frizzel who's natural game at SR level is running and offloading...and theyve obviously tasked him with more tackling
is fozzie just making too many people either play out of position or change the game styles that got them into the AB's to start with
oi, Settle down ok. Team for next week, not wanting to make too many changes:My housemate is a kiwi and a hurricanes fan. He constantly bangs on about TJ, Laumape and Jordie Barrett being the best in the world. But honestly none of them perform at international level.

in aus i saw a couple of places reporting the wallabies would be joint top of the table after the win on the weekend, one win each
thats not fair. most kiwis and all the current ABs camp all agree that those tackles were too high and the red cards fair. Ofa shouldve been aiming for the hips or lower.Watching the Breakdown (NZ show), John Kirwan really loves a good moan. Calling for red cards to be removed at test level.

Kirwan and Cullen werent debating the decisions either, they were just suggesting that the punishment for red cards be changed, e.g 20 minutes Then the player can be replaced, like was the rule in super rugby Aotearoa. And they aren't wanting to lessen the disincentive, they are just wanting to ensure the product people are paying to see isn't ruined. I'm sure if they thought the disincentive would be reduced they would want to fix that by increasing the ban period or something.thats not fair. most kiwis and all the current ABs camp all agree that those tackles were too high and the red cards fair. I coach u12 kids how to tackle and they get it. why can't the adults?

I created one, just changed the name to be consistent hence findable maybe. Hopefully I don't get in trouble for creating a match threadThere's another round of the Tri Nations 2020 tournament going on this Saturday and no thread has been created yet. The ABs have just announced their 23.
yeah i'm surprised Akira got dropped but where would u put him? if it were i , i wouldve rested cane, who has played every minute of every test this season.@mania i agree re Akira, seeing he didn't get his full run i thought they might have given him a run against the argies. Also, we had some quick outside backs on the field, i thought they might have dropped Reece, kept 8 forwards and let jordie swing wide to cover the wing
I have actually seen to much moaning, thought people moved on pretty quick
