[2018/19 Heineken Cup] Round : Pool (12&13/10/2018)

Neville reffed us vs Perpignan and completely lost the game, started throwing cards out left right and centre and had to be escorted off the pitch by security at the end.
Think part of it was the perpignan players had no respect for her authority, though. Can't really remember how well she went before the cards came out
She a tough nut as ref. Is well respected in Pro14

Leinster really doing a job, they seem to be getting away with a fair bit no arm tackles not entirely sure about the laws around support players but I always thought they needed to be behind the ball carrier pretty sure I have seen on several occasions players bound to the ball carrier but in front in the close exchanges.

They are clearly the dominant force.

Launchbury going well. I think we need him for England for his leadership, especially if we have Itoje as the other lock.

How the hell was that a bath pen thanks whitehouse just handed Bath the game....

Regis Sonnes. Can see him getting a big head coaching job somewhere soon. He's had a tremendous impact everywhere he's been in his coaching career.
He's already in that job.

Well done to Leinster on their win. Toulouse were running on empty in Agen with little turnover and it showed today. Leinster looked fresher. Pity Mola couldn't field a full-strength side which is what's needed to expect a result v Leinster.

My mistake, I thought Ugo Mola was in charge and Sonnes was skills coach.

Really pleased with that win. Win against Wasps next weekend and a home quarter final is secured.

No worries. They're both head coaches. Bit like the Labit-Travers tandem at Racing. Poitrenaud is the skills coach.

Good win for Leinster.

Lines up a Leinster v Leicester final potentially.

What he did at Bandon in 2 years at both Schools level and Junior level was freakishly good

I'm embarrassed for Leicester....

Looks at Wasps results.

Indeed English clubs really struggling, was a little surprised to see how many men were rested, I can understand not wanting to risk injury's, however tigers have recently discovered some form a hiding like that can't do their confidence any good and to be fair Wasps suffered heavy defeat from In form teams, scarlets have hardly been a European power house this season, they have soo... many injury's too, glad to see Tigers eventually got some points on the board when I posted that it was 20 something 0, I never want an English team to loose in Europe to a none English team even Tigers...

Midlands rugby in general is pants.
Even Saints whose fans seem to be really happy have been poor.

I guess we shall see end of season.

Regis is going to take Toulouse to a whole different level. In his first 5 months he's transformed the group. He's just starting...
