The Referee is Federico Anselmi from UAR.

So good to see the Force open up the back line. Ref needs to train up, but bad calls on both sides. Nice to see Queensland lose after all the trash their fans were talking in the lead up.

I saw a bit of the Force last year but don't know much about them. They looked more solid than their record suggested so if they can improve their attack to score 2-3 tries a game then I think they'll get a few more scalps at home. Hells, if the Brumbies score in NZ was just a fluke then the Force might even be in the mix for the Oz conference.

I'm not sure if the Waratahs and Reds are average or the Force has improved a lot. We are going to answer the question when they will face to the Kiwis, or at least the Jaguares

I will take a punt and say that the Tah's, Reds & Force are all pretty crap again this year! (and I only leave the Brumbies and Rebels out because they werent mentioned!)

Good to see an Argie referee, I thought he had a bit a struggle at times with some clearly incorrect calls, but managed fairly well in the end.

I would say the Force has improved quite a bit since last season, and that's due to a great off-season, where we were able to sign some talented players. Also I have to give Dave Wessels some credit for the type of rugby we're trying to play. The last few seasons we have talked about playing attacking rugby, but more than often we didn't.

Yeah it looks like it's going to be a lean year for the Australian teams. Not sure what the prospects of the Force and Rebels teams are going to be for the near future. It seems we don't have the players for 5 teams in the comp.
