[2017 Super Rugby] Round 1: Kings vs. Jaguares (25/02/2017)

I don't think I've seen this Bonilla at fly half. He has jumped ahead of Iglesias in the order for fly half but is not all that young at 27 years old. How do you think this new half back pairing will do?

i dont realy know! think gonzales iglesias has been moved to first centre maybe that´s why he`s in the bench he could repalce both 12 and 10. for diaz bonilla hes been playing for hindu for some time now, hes been in los pumitas and been selected for sevens a few times. also arg xv. he´s elusive with the ball in hand and quite speedy. i hope he can complete. it will be important how dominant the forewards will be. cos if they do good hell have more space and chances to create.

He's very famous in Argentinean rugby community, he's a better playmaker than Sanchez and Iglesias together. I'm not sure if he's going to have the freedom that he had in his club and how can manage the pressure to play at this level. He deserves an opportunity since looooong time ago

Better playmaker at what level? URBA he is the best on the best team but here you got less time to think and play. Dont get me wrong i hope we plays well so we can have another flyhalf but until he proves he can play and break some tackles as Sanchez hes not even at the same level.

Sanchez is not a playmaker at any level, he doesn't play like Quade Cooper or Matt Giteau, he's more a traditional fly-half

12.15 AM or PM?

PS. Sanchez makes plays. 0 Flair though.

It's South African time, midday for us. And yes, Sanchez is not the kind of playmayker that I prefer

Landajo said earlier this week that last season's biggest mistake was overconfidence. If they act upon that statement, take this game seriously and prepare properly, even with a ridiculous amount of injuries we should win by +10, and i'm being overly cautious here.

Let me put it in other terms: if we lose this game, the season is over already.

And just to be clear before we even start and nailing the colors to the mother ****ing mast, the goal is to qualify for the play offs.
Anything above that is a bonus, anything less is a failure.

I prefer to say that the goal is to reach the second place in our conference. Qualifing for the play off depends on several external factors.

Bertranou should not play ever. I prefer a traffic cone.

As for jags, well, we are winning because kings suck haha. Boring rugby, slow rugby.

The Kings are so strong! They don't have skills but are too strong!

Moroni blocked a Kings player. Moron!

We are lacking power to break through. If we take away the non forced errors from Kings this is a very tight match. We open the ball, they float, we try to power through we cant. I hope this is not a indicative of the season.

ps. escurra is playing very well.

My God, they haven't learned anything since last year. They are an eye pain.
Goodbye Perez. That you go well selling hippies crafts but don't return to coach rugby, please!.

Great result for the Jaguars in their first hit out of the new Super Rugby season.
Plenty of tries and plenty to work on but still a good confidence building result.

it looked like the first halve was all about getting the pace. once they got there, jags where able to score some good trys. when the reserves came in, they just didn't complete. it really declined when ezcurra came in. good start for Diaz Bonilla. lezana and senatore did good too. and so did beltranou for a first season game at least, creevy and petty where good too.

Cheesus Christ we suck balls... another waste of a year, hopefully the last we'll see from these amateur coaches.

Who will be back next week? give me some silver lining because otherwise I'm thinking in spending my next saturday not-watching this.
