Interesting squad Although obvs don't get why Evans isn't playing unless being targeted for the Scotland and Aus games.

If you look at the front row starters and replacements, this clearly isn't full strength.

Squad V Wales
15. Jacob Stockdale (Belfast Harlequins / Ulster)
14. Matthew Byrne (Terenure / Leinster)
13. Shane Daly (Cork Con / Munster)
12. Conor O’Brien (Clontarf / Leinster)
11. Hugo Keenan (UCD / Leinster)

4. Cillian Gallagher (Sligo / Connacht)
5. James Ryan (Lansdowne / Leinster) (captain)
6. Greg Jones (UCD / Leinster)
7. David Aspil (St.Mary’s RFC / Leinster)*
8. Max Deegan (Lansdowne / Leinster)

Replacements:
16. Vincent O’Brien (Cork Con / Munster)*
17. Vakh Abdaladze (Clontarf / Leinster)*
18. Ben Betts (Young Munster / Munster)
19. Sean O’Connor (Cashel / Munster)
20. Kelvin Brown (Shannon / Munster)
21. Niall Saunders (Epsom College / Exiles)
22. Johnny McPhillips (Queens University / Ulster)
23. Jimmy O’Brien (UCD / Leinster)

Ryan is luckily not out injured which is good because he's a class above anyone else on that team imo. Few good players and future pros in there as well, but way too many pedestrians. Wales by 10 is my prediction. Hope I'm wrong, which I could be as we generally improve between the 6N and JRWC

Williams is twice the player Mallinder is

No he really isn't.

New Zealand Under 20 v Georgia:
1. Ayden Johnstone 2. Leni Apisai (c) 3. Sosefo Kautai 4. Quinten Strange 5. Isaia Walker-Leawere 6. Luke Jacobson 7. Mitchell Jacobson 8. Marino Mikaele-Tu'u 9. Sam Nock 10. TJ Va'a 11. Jonah Lowe 12. Jordie Barrett 13. Patelesio Tomkinson 14. Caleb Makene 15. Shaun Stevenson
Reserves: 16. Asafo Aumua 17. Shaun Stodart 18. Alex Fidow 19. Hamish Dalzell 20. Hapakuki Moala-Liava'a 21. Jonathan Taumateine 22. Stephen Perofeta 23. Malo Tuitama

Both Williams and Mallinder had very good seasons for u20's playing in a senior competition.

I like that 10-14 combination.

I'm not sure why people slag off Tigers' academy. They've done quite a lot for other people's squads.

That looks the most likely set of results alright. As you say, the Scots could make it a tight match.

Ireland have also a decent chance if they perform well. 8 changes to the last 15 that started against Wales in the 6N. The breakdown will be key in that match I'd say.

Maybe lightening will strike twice for the Japanese. ;)

The SA-Japan clash is on at an uncomfortable time for me. I'll have to read the match summary. Don't think it should be close as surely we are now warned when it comes to all things Japanese rugby-wise!?!
