Will be there tomorrow night, can't wait. Interesting to see how Woodward goes against his old team.

Smell an upset :D

At the moment it looks like 4 NZ teams are probably gonna be in the semi finals, just too skilful for the other teams.

You sure that wasnt a rotting corpse?.............................. Just rustling your jimmies as usual..... The Rebels actually looked pretty decent until this game. The canes still show signs of being a bit flaky imo.

I thought this game was ripe for an upset as well. However after the first 20 mins the Rebels just couldn't keep up with the Canes intensity. Also a few of the Canes players decided to step up there game from previous games. Barrett, Jane and Woodward the most notable.
Are they still flaky? This coming game v Chiefs will answer that question.

Well, the field was certainly well ploughed by the end of it, anyway ... I'm not convinced the Canes have coped with the losses of their big name players from last year, as well as some of the other franchises ... yes, the game against the Chiefs should be a good yard stick for both teams.

It was a upset for about 5 minutes, then a rotting corpse until the vultures were finished with it and ended up being a pile of old bones :D. man the Rebels were disappointing. Canes played well as always but I think the Rebels didn't show enough commitment. Similar to the Highlanders game, the Rebels seemed to switch off once a try was scored against them.

that's the most disappointing thing, AAMI park are copping a lot of flack for it. it's never been like this in the past, just this season. why did they use so much sand underneath? Melbourne doesn't get that much rain to warrant the need for increased drainage.

You should play on Suncorp it's like a sand pit

You guys get tropical/subtropic weather though where you get 5cm of rain in a few hours. That type of rainfall in Melbourne isn't common.
I reckon the last person to resurface the ground heard that they play Soccer and League there and prepared the surface for Soccer and League rather than Rugby, not taking contested scrums into account.

Better off playing the Rebels games out at Holmsglen where Harlequins play!
