Can't say I'm overly confident going in. Du Plessis' first test. If Du Preez doesn't manage to get fit with a few games to spare Du Plessis will be leading us in play-off rugby his debut season.

At least the future looks good for the Stormers. I have no expectations for this match and this season. We'll win a couple more games (probably not this one though) and get into the Quarters, maybe a Semi but that's about it for us I'd expect.

I'm just hoping we can carry on ITO the attacking intent we showed at times vs the Sunwolves but we're going to have to be more than a bit more focussed. We won't get as many opportunities if we lose the ball as much as we did on the weekend and the Lions will put us to the sword if we miss a quarter plus of ur tackles.

I'm torn who to pick on Superbru.

I picked the Lions last week against the Sharks, and got it right, but this week is much tougher...

I think I'll wait until I see the teams announced.

Decider for the best team in South Africa perhaps?
Going to be tight, away from home I'd say the Lions have the edge. A lot rides on the shoulders of our young third choice fly-half (not that I don't rate him).

Gonna be a tough game this. Both teams are picking their strongest teams... Still think the Lions will win this, although I won't be surprized if there is a draw...

Jean Luc was so good last week really looking forward to seeing him against a real pressure defence, if he carrys on this way, good good things for SA rugby!

Nice try, but the play before it had a clear fwd pass from the lions. Cracking game so far.

What an entertaining game this was to watch, even as a neutral, it was a great spectacle. I loved the physicality by both teams and they never stopped. Right up to the final whistle there were still big hits being made. It was awesome to see a derby like this.

Congrats Lions

Well, the good news is that's our toughest games barring the Bulls out of the way. I fancy us vs the Waratahs in Cae Town and the other Aus teams on tour.

I find the comments made by the Stormers management funny really.

"Gracious in defeat" Yet the statements made say otherwise.
