[2016 Super Rugby] Chiefs vs. Lions (Round 2) 05/03/2016

Agree, they matched the Crusaders upfront and while they lost a couple of battles they held there own, compared to the Blues who lost what felt like at least 50% of there own lineouts and were just dominated.

If you call this matching the Saders up front then all I can say is good luck for the rest of the season. LOL. (they got one lucky rolling maul try saders must of been sleeping during that one) The winning of this game was the saders center gifting that try.

My prediction is the Saders will totally kill them at home for the next one even with numbnuts Blkadder coaching them.

What was the point in that video? Just said Sam Cane, Mo'Unga and McKenzie were the top 3 players in that fixture.

The Chiefs are definitely missing Tamefuina and Messam, but I think you're still seriously underrating them.

I have no idea whats going on with that youtube link its supposed to be Crusaders vs Chiefs highlights obviously. The link looks right but its clearly not.

How do you figure im underrating them? Where did they place last year WITH Messam, SBW, Nanai williams and Tamefuina?? (and I honestly believe TNW was their biggest loss (injuries lack of game time) last year as when they've won championships) he'd been an absolute beast (Taumalolo aswell). Mckenzie and Ngatai as good as they are are not in the same league imo.

They placed pretty decently 5th I think it was, same with the season before. Made the play-offs and had some key injuries that cost them last season. Cruden out, Lowe out, Ngati out, Rettalick out just of the top off my head. Not sure how you came to the conclusion TNW is their greatest loss? McKenzie is a far superior talent to him and you said it's the forwards that they're the weakest in this season? Being beaten up front by that Lions pack is nothing to be ashamed of, but they were also penalized off the park by the ref, I think you will find the Lions to be potentially the strongest SA team this year.
