[2016 Super Rugby] Blues vs. Jaguares (Round 6) 02/04/2016

I swear, 80% of our ****-ups in the opponent 22 are because of a bad decision of stupid Landajo. I hate him so much, gosh. Brumbies scrum half trade, pls

Well, this is going quite ok. Hope i have to swallow my words.

Nyw, Quite a few Argentines on the stands.

I ve already lost count of the number of handling errors we ve had.

The blues have looked well beaten in the forwards for the first part of this match but have a handy lead at half time. Its mostly the Blues backs doing the damage which is fairly predictable.

Argentine teams ruck and maul work is a pleasure to watch they just seem to own it. Sometimes they over commit though.

Good defense in the end, but the mistakes we make leading to their attack are so bloody stupid.

So frustrating watching the Blues, they just don't execute well enough. Big gap between them and rest of NZ teams. Jaguares not played too badly shorn of their best players, gives them game to build experience and depth in their squad.

As I mentioned earlier the Jags draw is completely unfair compared to the Sunwolves and even the Stormers, pretty disappointed with the competition, hugely unfair to some teams while clearly favouring others heavily, the competition and the people running it need a huge kick up the back side.

The game was at 3:00 am in Argentina so I just saw it recently, disappointment. A very good start but we only scored 3 points in the first 20 minutes of the game and then Blues made tries at the end of the first half.

The competition is being so hard for the Jaguares. I'm a big fan of Super Rugby since many years so I knew that the competition would be tough for the team but many casual supporters didn't know it. However, we had to beat the Blues, the weak NZ team ATM but we couldn't. :(

Don't be too disheartened, but your Union should be making some serious noise and protests about the way this competition is being ran and the draw some teams are being handed. The Jags have been absolutely shafted this season.

Take a look at the Stormers run in;

Not one game vs an NZ team let alone touring NZ. Their toughest "tour" is playing the Rebels and the Force....! Not too mention the placements of their byes, as soon as they traveled to Argentina, they are given a bye immediately after. Meanwhile The Chiefs come home from an SA/Argentina tour and immediately after a home game are off to Canberra.

Their 3 hardest fixtures are home games (Brumbies, Tahs, Sharks).

Now comparing that to the Jaguars who play nearly all of last years finalists, start with a South Africa tour, then go on an NZ tour, then face the current champions at home..

There's undoubtedly some corruption or money talking with the SARU, because it's unbelievably lopsided in their favour. Honestly, all this can do is harden up the All Blacks, but I do worry about fatigue, fortunately we have the fittest players in the world that can handle travelling far distances instead of crying about it like SARU.
