He did it once against the Blues, which resulted in Crotty's try. That is how he made a name for himself initially - indeed there were many calling for him to be convert to a first-five! He seems to have lost that aspect of his game over the last couple of seasons for some reason - now would be a perfect time for him to bring it back, as he could add a different dimension to the Crusaders attack if he hits the line hard at first receiver.
