Can't see Leinster lose but can see the fact they haven't played alot lately counting against them in the sense it will be a finish where they keep Saints at like 10 points or so
I actually think there is 2 nice ties. Reckon Quins will put it up to Toulouse and Saints won't win but will be competitive,
On teams the Saints team suggests an aerial battle especially with Rahm on the wing.
Surprised Jimmy O'B straight back to 23 but presume Ringrose/Keenan calls dictated...
Is this the quietest build up ever to a European Semifinal weekend.
Seems like there is no hype or talk about either semi final and even most rugby podcasts etc are talking about other items.
To be fair it the same as rest of us. It forces better development in the position.
Don't think it effects Leinster too much but supposedly a Humphreys call so I suppose this is a glimpse of how he will run it.
@Groundhog our current crop at 17s/18s have good prospects but still an imbalance...
They are but having seen pitch it does look tiny in size. Hill 16 seems miles away from pitch but don't think it am advantage for anyone. More who adjusts better
Maybe and not a case of pushing them to Munster or Ulster as that should only happen if they get in to a starting 15. And being honest like neither would get in to Munster 15. But meant likes of Russell doing well. But I see Leinster have been stopped from signing Tupou and any NIQ THP so Cian...
Again I not arguing either way as he is young and not under pressure.
I do think he is the most rounded player of all the centres Leinster have available.
On HB vs Frawley. With Prendergast coming through and likes O'Brien x2, Jordie B and few other younger guys coming in to contenton you...
@Leonormous Boozer what selections do you make in backs for Saturday.
You had me on Osbourne hype train but more curious at how easy they seem to look at disregarding him.
Rumoured backs are:
15 Keenan
14 Larmour
13 Ringrose
12 Henshaw
11 Lowe
10 Byrne R
9 JGP
21 Murphy/McGrath
22 Frawley
23...
Doak is a player that seems to have regressed this last year. And he does have the tools.
Ulster hopefully do sort it in the off-season as they are needed.
We are a decent team when everyone available. We even rotated tonight. Yes the red helped but we were value for the win and it was some atmosphere. Felt like a final so credit to the Bulls fans and our own
They'll still be fine as tickets always come floating closer to time. But it is a great result. Both semifinals sold out very fast which is great and shows the appetite is there. Especially when you consider 3 Nations represented
Croker is set to sell out which is great to see.
Also crazy that Northampton Saints will earn more financially from this game than a sold out SF in Stadium MK.
On a bank holiday you'd hope it helps. Will be great spectacle. The other semi sold out in less than 30mins.
If you get 2 sold out semifinals and final it is super for the tournament
