I expected more from Leinster but understand it's very much a full c team. We didn't even play particularly well. We still lack the discipline and accuracy needed to reach a final.
Would've liked to see the Lions win but actually good for us to see direct competition lose at this stage to the top 4 teams as we aren't breaking into the top 4 this year with the start we had to the tournament.
I find it very difficult to make predictions this week. Would say all the less fancied sides are in with a shout because in my estimation they are all the home teams. Apart from the Bulls perhaps but the results of last week makes me doubt.

Sad for the loss but congratulations to the Ospreys. Even though the Welsh were good value for their win I can't help but feel frustrated with the way we approached the game.. Even though the tries we managed were beautiful we looked headless for large parts. I know we went from carrying a lot...
TBH I'm not sure I see the sense in our inclusion.
The URC I feel is a good fit atm but with our geographic isolation in rugby terms any comp we are in will be tricky.
But our inclusion in this competition.. I can fully understand the concerns even if I talked about salt. I wonder for us if...
Probably better for everyone that we are out because can you imagine the amount of salt from the French and English if a SA team won this tournament! Can't help feeling a bit bitter though. We could really have done without the amount of injuries..
If we can click on attack and front up vs the La Rochelle pack I think we can take them. But they are clear favorites I suppose. Hoping to see:
1 We have a bit of an injury crisis here
2 Please AH Venter and JJ Kotze at 16 here even if I know we are forking out for Dweba.
3 Fouche or Malherbe...
Only the 3rd season but of all the overseas sides it feels like we have the most "beef" with Ulster and now they are rocking up with Kitsie whilst we are in the middle of a loosehead injury crisis.

At home and with a near enough full strength side I'd back us vs La Rochelle but we'll have neither and I expect a QF exit is on the way for us. We don't have the squad depth to compete in both URC and this tournament. If any SA side does it'd be the Bulls who have recruited or rather...
I'd be happy to see Simelane get a look in if it weren't for the fact that Nel has been excellent and his experience and leadership counts for a lot especially given our injury list and especially in the centers.
Didn't expect a win with our lineup and considering the Bulls' recent results but if we'd lost that one at the end I'd have felt robbed.
Deon Fourie my motm but Dayimani was awesome as well. Them, our locks, Libbok and Nel were all putting in good shifts. I'm not a fan of jldp at 12 but...
