[RWC19 Warm-Up] - England vs Wales

The perception is still there that LCD’s throwing is inconsistent. This match so far has not put those doubts to bed imo. This match isn’t even a pressure match. Come the last 20 mins of a RWC match when the match needs to be put to bed and LCD comes on to throw? Still won’t inspire me with any confidence.

Over the last 5 years or so only George has higher % of successful throws than LCD. Both over 90%.
To put it into perspective Singletons is just over 80%.

One thing I don't understand is if the ref has been penalizing reactions and the like, why was the penalty not reversed for the Welsh dogpile on Genge right in front of him after he'd blown the whistle multiple times? Not massively bothered but seems inconsistent.

I really don't want Eddie Jones sticking around after the world cup, though it's inevitable. He has not been able to beat discipline into England and that is a failing which is going to stop us going far in this world cup.

I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. By that logic George’s lineout throwing is also completely untested because he’s never thrown a lineout in a RWC match.

Lucky not to get a red there. Swinging arm, always high. I thought Ford fell into chest at first so right call but on the replay can see the swing, yellow because of the dip?
