Coloureds vs Whites XVs

At this point when looking at "professional" rugby only it's clear that ethnicity doesn't decide who wins but I think it heavily influences the style of play a team uses.
Yeah the Rugby culture definitely changes your style of play Australians and New Zealand like to run, South Africa and Samoa like to be physical and France just don't give a ****

Lol France don't give a **** in a good way and a bad way.

mmm...would take Lobbe on that white XV somewhere in the 3rd row.

well he ain't exactly the specimen Hitler would've promoted...

Oh and hey, to stir some shhit up a bit: where do you put Dan Carter ?? (OP puts him as white)

Cruden's middle name is "Wiremu", so there's that. :P (Carter's - funnily enough - is William, so I say he's white.)

How do you explain the winger David Smith? :p "Dude his name is DAVID SMITH he's white!!"

If a guy has really bad sunburn and is the colour of a lobster, what side does he play on?

You need a "non-white" middle name, have a coloured grandparent or live in a predominantly coloured country for three years to play in the "coloured" team. ;)

Haha well that would be a temporary skin condition so he should be pointed to the nearest pharmacy before playing any outdoor rugby :D

Scram Ewis you've had your say on this topic! :P

Don't sell a white backline short;

9 Fourie du Preez
10 Beauden Barrett
11 George North
12 Jean de Villiers
13 Conrad Smith
14 Ben Smith
15 Mike Brown

... I'd say only Fofana and Folau are guys I'd miss and then you have a vastly superior pack IMO which is more important. Hell, forget flare in the backline and throw up a brick wall defene with players with decent kicking games like Kockott and Wilkinson in the halves and F Steyn and Fourie in the centers and win through the forwards:

That is a nice looking backline. I just feel that the C's can bring an explosive dimension to their attack that the W's can't. Not even North. There's no doubt though that either can win if they play to their strengths.

What about Courtney lawes for the ethnic lock position?

Totally forgot about him. He'd definitely be in the XV. If he keeps up his recent performances he'll be vying for a world XV spot in my books.

lol "ethnic". I love the euphemism control there. It's like people are playing with nitroglycerin, love it !! :p

And stormer I agree the whole athletic colored back thing is a bit exaggerated at times when you watch some white guys, esp. Aus/NZ like J.O'Connor, Giteau, Drew Mitchell, Ben Smith...who can really run and have that natural looseness, sort of dance with the ball. But there's no denying the instant impact of a Sivivatu, Nalaga...etc...

I think I can do better teams, the black's forwards from this thread has no chance against the white's forwards. Their first and second rows have no chance against whites forwards, now I chose best black's forwards that could play the imaginary confrontation. For example: Courtney Lawes has had a great 6N recently and not on that team. Mealamu is better hooker than Elliot too.

White XV:

1. Cian Healy
2. Adrian Strauss
3. Adam Jones / Martin Castrogiovanni
4. Eben Etzebeth
5. Sam Whitelock / Flip van der Merwe
6. Sean O'Brien / Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe
7. Michael Hooper
8. Kieran Read
9. Danny Care
10. Dan Carter
11. George North

12. Jean de Villiers
13. Conrad Smith / Brian O'Driscoll
14. Ben Smith
15. Mike Brown

Coloured XV:

1. Tendai Mtawarira
2. Keven Mealamu
3. Ben Tameifuna / Salesi Ma'afu
4. Sitaleki Timani / Samu Manoa
5. Courtney Lawes
6. Liam Messam
7. Thierry Dusautoir
8. Billy Vunipola
9. Will Genia
10. Quade Cooper
11. Julian Savea
12. Wesley Fofana
13. Luther Burrell / Manu Tuilagi
14. Bryan Habana
15. Israel Folau
