RWC: England - Scotland (01-10-2011, 20:30)

Think I might go back to sleep tbh. Pretty boring from both sides, with the main difference being that St J of W's continuing aberration in form puts us behind.

Once again though, England can't cope with the pressure match. Increasingly coming to the anti-Johnson viewpoint, as that is the real crux of things.

40 minutes to put it right...

Go back to sleep or watch some thing else then :D

ok, so after failing to get on free wifi at pret a manger i've found a pub which has opened especially for me to watch it...I caught the last 30 seconds of the first half. brilliant. Just in time to see Dan Parks slotting a drop goal.

Has anyone played alright for England?

Really poor stuff from England. They've hardly been in Scotland's 22. They'll be going home unless there is a dramatic improvement.

If Scotland manage to pull this off and win by 8 or more, everyone in Scotland will be cheering for Argentina to get maximum points against Georgia tomorrow.

Armitage has done okay, Tuilagi had one good rip, otherwise has been quite.
Um, Lawes maybe? Scraping the barrel basically.

English supporter proposing to GF back in England, touching ^_^

No offence to Scotland/ Argentina but I rather we face one of them rather than England in the quarters. So go England!

On the other hand I don't mind England losing as long as they pick up a bonus point that should see them qualifying as top of the group right?

Unlikely to happen... unless Georgia beat Argentina.

Yeah because if Scotland win by more than 7 today and Argentina get a BP win tomorrow, then England are going home. Its all or nothing for England, 1st place or 3rd place so a meeting with the ABs is virtually impossible.
