Canada, worried about their skills on the field is taking a new approach to their World Cup games. The will challenge the other teams to street hockey games, boat races, and beaver skinning competition. The results will be binding on the pool stage results.

The IRB has yet to approve this approach for the knock out stages, but Rugby Canada is lobbying hard. They recently sent, Pam Anderson, Shania Twain, Trish Status, and blow up pool and 1500 litres of maple syrup to plead their case.
