Ive managed to carve 8 to 12 mins in the bedroom alone after all the visits, and kids are playing with toys downstairs!

Poured my first whiskey, now its time to eat drink and be merry before the comllaining starts at 14.45 tomorrow!

Usually do goose fat roasties, but this year went for duck (and added a spoonful of cornstarch before they went into the oil) - absolutely superb, best ones yet by far
Duck fat also doesn't have that gross "gamey" smelly that goose does (that kind of smells like stale urine)

ive been trying for 11 years, this woman is like a vanerial disease, i just have to enjoy the quiet time before she flares up again.

Usually the instigator is a rare sunday roast, or a big stew, ive done 18 types of potato, the only acxeptable one in our house appears to be jacket.
