I get it, there are risks involved with life in general, charities like Reducing the Risk certainly are not helping with BS stats like 40% lol. Ive read the study that claims 39%, and well my partner commits these atrocitie on me 3 times a week by these questions.
Relationships are messy, teens are figuring out how to be healthy in relationships, demonising boys any further than they already are disenfranchises them further from formal education, theyre already in a system not designed for their learning needs, criminlised early and more, over diagnosed, using drugs and alcohol at earlier ages, failing education at higher rates... now telling them they are bad, and over analysing everything they do and say will absolutely have a negative effect on girls and women ending up in relationships with these boys grown to bitter, and failed men.
There is a hierarchy of dealing with young boys behaviour, demonisation is not on the list, which you would be surprised by the way teachers speak about difficult boys.
I Recently saw a 12 year ild boy criminalised by a female professional attending a school event, he had learning diffs, difficult home life and his diagnosis were taking forever, he made the comment 'miss, can you pop a titty for the boys?' Which in a class led them too hysterics. She refused to consider his needs after the event and reported it to the police.
This was not a Tate loving mysoginist needing police intervention, he was a learning diff child who really struggled with communication, and was relentless in his need for peer approval. What he needed was connection before correction, educating and seeing a role model, model how to behave positively... but here he is marked with a record that will escelate his life in an incredibly negative way. It sreally difficult seeing these types of scenarios, from people involved with children who totally lack empathy or ambition to maoe positive changes, this strategy will only empower bad adults, to target poorly behaved boys.
