I think anyone reading the BBC on trans matters who supports trans rights can see they editorial bias against them. Every article is written as a negative and its usually takes a while to read the balance of trans rights people.

I mean does anyone believe Kunnesberg is an unbiased presenter?

They get it right in a lot of areas but sadly this one are they are not.

EDIT: Kunnesberg not mentioned for trans issues specifically but as an example where the BBC can clearly be biased within it news organisation.

I get it, there are risks involved with life in general, charities like Reducing the Risk certainly are not helping with BS stats like 40% lol. Ive read the study that claims 39%, and well my partner commits these atrocitie on me 3 times a week by these questions.

Relationships are messy, teens are figuring out how to be healthy in relationships, demonising boys any further than they already are disenfranchises them further from formal education, theyre already in a system not designed for their learning needs, criminlised early and more, over diagnosed, using drugs and alcohol at earlier ages, failing education at higher rates... now telling them they are bad, and over analysing everything they do and say will absolutely have a negative effect on girls and women ending up in relationships with these boys grown to bitter, and failed men.

There is a hierarchy of dealing with young boys behaviour, demonisation is not on the list, which you would be surprised by the way teachers speak about difficult boys.

I Recently saw a 12 year ild boy criminalised by a female professional attending a school event, he had learning diffs, difficult home life and his diagnosis were taking forever, he made the comment 'miss, can you pop a titty for the boys?' Which in a class led them too hysterics. She refused to consider his needs after the event and reported it to the police.

This was not a Tate loving mysoginist needing police intervention, he was a learning diff child who really struggled with communication, and was relentless in his need for peer approval. What he needed was connection before correction, educating and seeing a role model, model how to behave positively... but here he is marked with a record that will escelate his life in an incredibly negative way. It sreally difficult seeing these types of scenarios, from people involved with children who totally lack empathy or ambition to maoe positive changes, this strategy will only empower bad adults, to target poorly behaved boys.

I’m generally in agreement, I’m not in favour of boys being demonised but I’m sure those behind this thing would say that too. I too am sceptical of these types of things but I don’t know enough about it to comment really. Will have to see how it’s implemented. I suspect this 20m will be split between a call centre, and unbeleivably high cost training for teachers to 'spot mysoginy'.

The truth is, Mysoginy is becoming the new racist, when applied to everything it becomes meaningless.

I Was discussing this recently with a social worker, and she genuinely felt like she was educating me when she explained Mysoginy isnt just hatred of women, its as broad as contributing to systems that restrict, and exclude womrn, like biology or capitolism. My jaw hit the ******* flaw, she has absolutely been radicalised, and this women holds parental responsibility for young boys who are massively at risk! And thisnis where i get frustrated, when sociel media can radicalised generally sane human beings into beleiving our entire system is against women, and theres a rapist around every corner, specifically your friends, and family, then the moral justification to aggressively go after that in young boys becomes mandatory.

Primary schools and social services are dominated by women 85 to 90% of the provision is female, and while this is not a problem in general, the older generations of both are probably the biggest critics of the newer generations. My aunt is a primary school teacher, and i work with a lot of older social workers and they share the sentiment that newly qualifieds are infantilised and unprepared to work with children in general.

I Saw a study recently, cant remember where it was from, it might have been an LA study, that showed social workers under with less that 5 years experiences spend 5 hours with girls for every hour with boys. And its not shocking, anyone who works in the 3rd sector talks about childrens services bias. Its actually understandable to a degree, the most unlikaleable young people are the boys who have been disliked from an early age, and have been rejected at every stage of development, butbhowndonwe fix the problem, if those employed to help are the problem.

Anyway rant over lol, we could move on to the specific risks of young girls next if you like, i can rant for hours about lack of safeguarding for them too hahaha
