Could be a red here, looked bad on first view

Edit: maybe not - head whiplashed forward from contact to the body, no actual head contact. Definite shoulder though, so yellow is fair

What is it with Sale and closing out games?
And stupid team selections

Two locks and no backrower on the bench, bring Jibulu on at 7 and Burrow on at 6, don't bring Andrews on at all and leave the starting 1, 2, 4 and 5 playing the full 80
Sub Ford early, sub DDP early

Just mental

Leicester 39-17 Newcastle

NO Scorigami

This is the 6th instance of this score.

First Game: 26/3/11 London Irish 39-17 Exeter
Last Game: 26/9/25 Saracens 39-17 Newcastle

How did Chiefs play? I couldn't watch it and havnt got round to the highlights yet.
Equally as crap for about 50 then comfortably better the final third

Woodburn was your best player,
Jenkins was poor the first 50 but good the final 30 - I wouldn't have given him MOTM because he almost lost you the game by taking contact on a 3 on 1 break

Well, last night was a disaster for my fantasy team. Thought the likes of Radwan would tear it up v the weakest team in the league, even traded out my usual 10 for Searle. He was the only one I'd call acceptable from a points perspective but it wasn't great. Even IFW struggled to bring the goods.

I spoke to someone who saw the televised fixture and said it was a terrible spectacle. Perhaps it's highlights job for these two although the Sale v Exeter score looks far more competitive.

Not many highlights in the sale game outside of the tries (and most of them nothing to write home about), it looked more like a pre-season game (which I guess makes sense as half the players out there will have only had 2 or 3 training sessions together in the last two months)

We are still building i guess, but top of the table so if we could please end the season early.

But honestly I never thought we'd be in a position to be in the top 4 never mind 1st(even if only for a day.)

That 3 on 1 was, just watched it but 21 unanswered points in 20 min is not bad going but we can't let games get away from us being 26 - 6 down at 50 min is bad.

Yep, me too.

Disappointed in Leicester, they really did lack ambition against what is still currently a very poor Newcastle side. I know they got the full 5 points, but really didn't give the backs a run at all, leastways for the first 60 minutes. It was very much reminiscent of England, still playing as if there's no talent outside the FH. It's just disappointing that coaches don't back the smaller, more tricky men more often.
