What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Watched 4 available Alien: Earth episodes. If it wasn't getting "best new show of 2025" reviews I probably would've stopped by now.

Contrary to my normal practice of waiting until a whole season dropped I've watched all four as well, the first two episodes were quite engaging. Since then it's dropped off considerably.

Considering the timeline is supposed to be a few years before Alien, the knowledge that the aliens even existed, let alone multiple different species, makes a mockery of the films.

Doesn’t seem to much good on at the moment. My brother told me to watch foundation but can’t get into it. Think I might just watch the wire for the 15th time.

I'm over a decade behind the curve but I've finally started watching Line of Duty
I didn't realise season one was filmed in Birmingham, and almost exclusively around the area that I work - I've drank in the pub they go to many times and have spotted my office out of a car window
I spend most of the time watching it just doing this:

Months ago watched Veronica Mars (2004-07). Like the title character I was 17 in 2004 so I enjoyed going back and watching this show from the time with the internet only on computers. It looks and is lit like a TV show in a way that isn't common now with streaming series often looking cinematic. 'Mystery of the week' format with some actors who'd be famous for other things making appearances. Season 1 is its best season everything in it works towards solving a larger season-long mystery. There was a 2014 movie which is... fine. 2019 had a revival season 4 and that was bad I hope it never comes back.

Been watching Wednesday thanks to the GF. Don't mind it actually. Felt rather proud of myself for working out who the monster was by about episode 2 or 3 of season 1.

My daughter has just got into Wednesday, as well as being obsessed by the kpop demon hunter movie...

God damn it i want to mock, I really do, but at least they are entertaining!

I've not seen the second half of S2 yet but really enjoyed the 1.5 seasons I've seen so far
Finished Season 2, the way it all wrapped up felt a bit messier than S1, it was likely they were trying to crowbar in sudden plot twists all over the place. Still good though.

Just finished it, and agree - really liked it, though

Didn't realise they'd confirmed a S3 - hope they filmed it at the same time as 2 so we don't have a 3yr wait again

Alien: Earth finished season 1. If season 2 is another 8 episodes I don't plan on coming back. Episode 8 specifically too interested in keeping its actors employed to kill off characters, built up to Eyeball alien talking and it didn't happen.

Just finished S1, disappointed overall. A lot of it doesn't make sense.

The best actor was the sheep.
