Freddie Clarke has joined Newcastle Falcons on a one-year deal after playing almost 200 games for Gloucester Rugby.
The 32-year-old brings vast Gallagher PREM experience to the Kingston Park club after nine seasons with the Cherry and Whites, for whom he played 23 times last season.

What's the crack with him. Don't know much about him as a player / style
He not a player I know much about, looks like he's had a few injuries with his tricep which required surgery. Looking forward to see how he gets on with Freddie Clark. Still think we are a couple of props short.

I really hope that's not finding/making a job for a recently retired player. Happy for Cole to be involved, but not at the expense of others.
Agreed - presumably he's no experience in talent spotting and acquisition, or contract negotiation (he'll have had an agent for that).
Bring him in as a scrum consultant, having a chat with the younger THPs, have him looking at videos of the other LHPs in the Prem...
Then if he's interested and showing aptitude, get him some coaching badges, and responsibility with the academy, or farm him out to Lougborough.
