3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

Not sure but I saw beirne just get a medal.
I wouldn’t be too disheartened as a lions fan because I imagine they clocked off slightly as the series was clinched.

As a wallabies fan, a real test will be if we can be competitive in South Africa, because even when we’re strong we struggle over there.

SA have tried a lot of new players, and Italy and Georgia weren't much cop. Hard place to go though. Rugby's a simple game of you can get over the gain line. Schmidt's game plan needs that trigger otherwise hasn't had much of a plan B al a test 1.

Imagine being so deluded about how good the largely unchanged 23 was that you only wondered if the Wallabies could 'sneak it'

This was days before the team was announced you illiterate sea urchin

I literally put money on Wallabies -7, but go off

It was Thursday at 8:11 AM - AFTER the team was announced. You had enough confidence in the team to think the Wallabies might only just sneak it at best 🤣
I had enough confidence in the team to...bet heavily against them

I don't even like the lions, why are you acting like I'm some superfan?

True.
Still feel bad for Dave Rennie, he was building nicely given the cattle and injuries he had.
Be nice to give the bledisloe a nudge. Would inject a lot of interest in the game both sides of the ditch if we could go close this year.
Still not convinced that suali’i is our 13. He struggles defensively and we have a world class 13 in ikitau.

Does anyone know if we get to keep Skelton for the rugby championship?

The Rennie propaganda won’t die. He lost to Italy in his 3rd season in charge.

Yeah and his players let him down. Jake Gordon had a shocker that game to single one out.
Overall he did a great job. That same tour we lost to Ireland and France on the last play.
A shocking run of injuries included

Only caught the end, seemed to be indicative of the game so won't really dwell on today. Series was won, Oz up for it and the Lions probably weren't, it's understandable.

The tour has probably turned me off the Lions more, the fans really don't come together like people claim, everyone wants the team to win sure but the level of criticism goes through the roof for other nation's players.

Farrell really didn't do much wrong until this week but copped loads of criticism. For a coach who tried to get the Lions playing expansive and entertaining rugby it just shows that a lot of people don't really care about that, it was just another angle to go at Gatland with.

The rugby is also just never great, one memorable match in an entire tour. I'll always back the best 2 or 3 Lions nations to do a better job than the Lions, you can't build from scratch in such a short period.

Happy that a lot of Irish players were pivotal in winning the series and a few looked to really improve on their form from the past 12 months. Hopefully no major injuries either which looks promising. It'll be great now when Leinster play some bin juice team and their fans are whinging about playing 23 internationals and X amount of Lions.

It has got me excited about the URC at least, looking forward to watching rugby that I care about and that matters.

So Jones got a 4 after being shoved out on to the wing outside two centres who don't pass
