Western Force v British & Irish Lions

Everyone looks bollocksed, is it a classic Aled Walters play of beasting everyone right up to the kick off, for warm ups, so that they can taper down for tests?
I remember England looking absolutely shagged before tournaments before

I was wondering the same thing earlier.

Looked like a release to me.

Pollock doesnt seem to have a feel for a breakdown at all. Clearly a brilliant athlete but he doesnt seem like a particularly amazing openside.

To be fair they look less sloppy than vs Argentina. Way more cohesive and on the same page, but yeah they look tired and flat. I’m being serious when I say you need something like a fight to get lads going, especially in a tour side like this.

Lack of a defensive line out has been notable, we’ve given them such easy ball there.

It's almost like 3 weeks training together is better than 2 weeks (a better selection of players helps too)

Force have been decent. They've had a few weeks off post season by now and had to come back together.

Could do with some pace in the back 3 there's been space but none of those lads are rapid and there isnt really anyone on tour with out and out pace.

Missing a Darcy Graham, Tommy Freeman or Blair Kinghorn, seems short-sighted to be lacking so much pace in the back 3, hopefully this will be fixed when the full squad is available. Daly has been good though.

Just a point of difference player like Graham. Freeman isn't slow but don't see him as an out and out pace guy either. Minus Hansen they're all on the bigger more physical side.

Is Hansen meant to be quick? I know he's been injured for a good period. He's been bumped a few times, think his USP is he played a lot at 10 so come in as second distributor.

If Pollock is the next wonderkid coming out of the North then you guys dont have ****.
Believing the British rugby media in the year of our lord 2025

Interesting that Lowe seems to have been the one doing the second distributor role in the first half, especially when you have Tuipulotu at 12.

The breakdown is not being reffed like anything I’ve watched all year up north. Maybe if o’keif learned the laws it would help.

But who cares as you have a one eyed view of the north 😂
