Well thisnis the barrier they face, I think Trump has targeted the EU here knowing the trouble it will cause. The old add age of German car makers and French cheese and wine is a cliche, but it does sum up the problems the EU face with so many differing cultures and agendas.

Maybe Von der Leyen just needs to be given total control over the states of EU?

It's kinda why I sit where I do there has to be point where we can't wait for courts before action can be taken.

Saville is the extreme example but let's not forget he got away with it. Not a single prosecutor took him to trial. But we all accept he definitely he did what he did because of the sheer weight of accusations against him.

Another is Spacey found not liable in on court for one incident (Rapp sued Spacey) and not guilty on 9 counts in the UK brought by the CPS. This is the grey one there have been 15 accusations only 5 (from my reading have gone to court). Also apparently 8 diffrent reports of his behaviour on by staff on House of Cards. There's enough here to suggest his behaviour is terrible even if it doesn't step into criminal. Plus we know increidbly low conviction rates and it only takes one Dirty Harry for the jury to be tainted.

Not saying Spacey did the things but when there's a weight of allegations I'm unsure

So I just did a small Google on this guy asmongold, I can only find things about him that are anti MAGA. One neutral post on X where he says he voted but wants it to be over. Everyone seems to be criticising this middle age world of war craft player of all sorts, alt right, radical left lol. Seems he's hated by both sides for being a bit neutral and a fence sitter.

Apparently he had a Trump flag up once, but it's argued he was rage baiting for views, and I found a weird article where he stated:

And I'm not a lawyer so couldn't tell you what the difference between the two statement are. I doubt you have legal knowledge either but you about to claim to I bet.

2. My knowledge of the legal system is trash
3. No, the judge claimed during the counter claim Trump brought forward that the claim of rape wasn't defamation, as it is regularly used pendants as a 'common definition'. The judge never stated the original outcome of sexual assault was wrong, he merely claimed rape and sexual assault are interchangeable in common vernacular essentially.

But let's get out of the weeds and find som common ground...

The verdict of 5mill for the sexual assault seemed OK at first, but the 83mill for defamation is wild in context. I would have expected the other way around. Even the 16mill awarded to Trump from ABC, is more than 3 times more than the original SA order, we can agree the American legal system is on its head at times no?!

The same way I refused to call Johnny Depp a woman beater, or after the trial refused to berate Amber Heard. I wasn't there.

What I can say is a don't trust elements of the Trump case, and trust other elements of the Trump case, but that's only based on gut.

I highlight untruths and inaccuracies, I get called Nazi to communists regularly, for disagreeing with both sides, it just turns out the only person on this board who is a Trump fan is Chicago kid, and he doesn't seem to rage when I mention his legal, health or food industry problems in the US, or when I criticise Trump (which I've done regularly btw, but noone seems to even read those comments).
