Brand has been pretty outspoken that he wanted these cases to be formally investigated, and he thanks the courts for the opportunity to defend himself publicly.
Brand has always been a but of a scum bag but I can't imagine between 2001 and 2005 he had any problem attracting women. I know at least 5 or 6 cases against him in the 2000s were proved false including 1 women who accused him of rape when she claimed she thought he was wearing a condon when he wasn't, and another claimed he assaulted her in a bar before cctv proved her claim false.
I'm not saying he's innocent or guilty, but 20 year old cases seems suspicious.

In Jan the deepseek announcement did indeed wipe a large amount of value off Nvidia.
It also very much brought into question the US claims that only countries capable of invested 500+bn could compete or even develop AI.
But to try and blame that one event and it's immediate consequences for this week's markets crash is totally off the rails and shows how inept the current American government is.
