I want pollock in the squad but not to play, just to get in the environment and be more prepared for the summer.

Will be interesting g what Stevie B does with Earl, he can’t start at 8 when the sarries form 8 should be, but is Earl better at 7 than curry right now?

The back row should always be about balance.

Despite the fact that they play in different positions, I think Underhill's injury potentially increases Willis' chances. It creates an opportunity to use him in tandem with Earl and mitigate any inexperience with familiarity. However, to round out the trio, I either think you need T. Curry's industry or Chessum's lineout prowess at 6. Picking CCS with Earl and Willis probably wouldn't have the same balance as they all like to carry.

Personally, I'd go with Chessum and T. Curry or a Curry combo on the flanks with Willis at 8 and Earl on the bench for impact.

Or Ted Hill at 6, he would blend nicely with these 2.
Chessum at 4, with Martin at 5.

I get that, but it seems to cause debate as many say you do..others say you dont. I personally prefer to have an additional jumper in the back row either at 6 or 8. that then dictates who is picked.

How many of our options don't jump though? This has been a meme since the Japan world cup when people were saying we can't play Curry and Underhill together because neither jump and Curry ended up being one of our main targets

Ojomoh should probably be on that list. In the last couple of games he's outshone Lawrence and Borthwick was keen enough to put him in the last A squad with 0 games under his belt at that point.

Probably unlikely as they do seem to really like Slade, but you never know

The seeming move away from blitz will probably count against Slade. His defensive leadership in that model was cited as the main reason for him being rushed back.

Good player, but it probably is time to move on. As a club combo, Ojomoh and Lawrence would probably be as good as any.

I don't think the RFU is in the mood to justify not using fit players on central contracts. Clubs already don't seem happy with the new system as it is and the RFU surley don't want the grassroots revolt against them to spread and get any bigger.

Possibly. Borthwick didn't like him enough to take him to the last RWC and as @Vieux Talonneur has said, moving away from the blitz reduces his importance. Playing 10 isn’t going to strengthen his case for starting at 12 or 13 either.

He’s been on the Eng radar for a while, will be 25 later this year and has 60 or 70 games under his belt for Bath.

If you’re talking about consistency of performance or recent game time then fine, otherwise it would probably be the perfect time, especially alongside a club mate.
