Should Wales have it's own national cricket team?

I can see both sides of the argument.
Pity Walsh cricket could not have both a team in the county championship and national cricket team like Welsh football has teams in EFL English football league, and a national football team. but looks like they will have to choose one or either but not both.

No they have Glamorgan, Robert Croft long said playing for Glamorgan was playing for Wales. The fact they have a Hundred side is controversial in itself even within the many many issues with the Hundred.
I'd prefer a rebranding of the England side to Great Britain and NI as any test capable player from Scotland would also (and has) play for the side as well.

Considering Sophia Gardens struggles to sell out for high profile games I can't see how it would be improved.

Ireland cricket is all island.
That's about all I know about cricket but Wales should go for it, surely an improvement on the rugby team.
Yeah but out most successful ODI Captain is from Dublin
Ireland put real effort to gain test and ODI status they deserve it.
Wales can't even get a competitive team together despite having a First Class status team, a Hundred franchise (with no Welsh players) and an international cricket ground.
They might beat New Zealand at cricket in the next 70 years

That sentence makes no sense.
Glamorgan or Cardiff have a Hundred team. Sophia Gardens still remains one of the most empty grounds whenever it hosts televised sport.
This prompted me to look up England and Wales's largest urban areas. I was unsurprised to learn they largely overlap with where The Hundred teams have been placed. I was surprised however to see Oval Invincibles have been renamed M1 London sounds like a bit of a **** name.
Yup this was meant to bring Cricket to the masses, so they're playing at the largest grounds but reducing access compared to county cricket in terms of location.

No because cricket should be banned for being a **** sport.
