[2022 Six Nations] England vs Ireland (12/03/22)

What is the rule on stopping for head injuries? The quick tap with Sinckler on the ground looks bad
it's against French rugby by-laws to care about head injuries- only mistake Mathieu made was not quickly throwing sinckler a smelling salt

edit: but yeah we saw earlier with Pearce that he was stopping immediately if he saw a hint of a head injury. Probably should be a TMO like guy in the ref's ear looking for head injuries.

The referee has been horrendous A disgusting performance from the first minute. England should complain about him.

Ref should stop the game if play approaches the downed player.
He ignored that with Ryan, he ignored it with Sinckler.

But it's for the ref to stop the game, not the players (though they can call the ref's attention to it)

Cheers, doesn't sound like any change then. Wondered if they'd got a bit hotter on protecting players as have seen a couple of games stopped.

Time to break the game down into 5 minute segments for England. Focus on winning each 5 minutes and the result will take care of itself. (easier said than done though).
