Most important game of the weekend, here's hoping they're weak as babies because there's not a lot of people left...

Ulster squad

FORWARDS (14)
Rob Herring, Niall Annett, Nigel Brady, Callum Black, Ricky Lutton, Adam Macklin, John Afoa, Neil McComb, James Simpson, Robbie Diack, Mike McComish, Ali Birch, Roger Wilson, Nick Williams.

BACKS (11)

Michael Heaney, Blane McIlroy, Niall O’Connor, Stuart Olding, Paddy Wallace, Jared Payne, Michael Allen, Chris Cochrane, Ricky Andrew, Peter Nelson, Adam D’Arcy.

Believe we may also have Court and Fitzpatrick being released from Ireland duty.

Front row and back row look quite strong, & the centers. The squad still looks good considering the sheer amount of players away.
Someone told me today Wilson was called up to the Irish squad? Don't know what that's about, but I'll be glad if he plays for Ulster or Ireland.

Wilson had been called up, but has been released, along with Court and Fitzpatrick.

13-9 to Zebre with 45 minutes played...

This is too painful to watch. 4 tries for Zebre, 25-20.
Even with 15 players away, this starting squad should be in the lead.

Penalty try - Ulster in the lead 27-25

Ulster were illdisciplined, lacked physicality, poor at the restarts, has no penetration and constantly made mistakes..... But they still won.

If good teams win when they're playing poorly, we must be absolutely amazing.

Still, we won't be missing 18 players most weeks.

18 players is a crazy amount.
Id love to see Ulster 2nd team vs Leinster 2nd team.

The Leinster second string generally travel up to Ravenhill most seasons to play Ulster's best XV. More often than not Leinster win!

This year it'll be different you'll see :p

but yeah I'd probably go for Leinster for the string match. (this years squad not last)

Ah, in fairness, it's not like Ulster generally have their first string out for such fixtures either. But yeah. They've got the Indian sign.

Am I the only one who thought NOC actually looked like a pro rugby player for the first time in a long time?

He actually kicked a penalty - that's unheard of!

4/5 was it he got? It's not bad like

Gettin 'er tight against Treviso...

Currently 15-13 to the Italians. Ulster starting to wake from a deep slumber in the 2nd half, but still very laboured.
